Department Of Health Says No To Allegations And Clears The Hospital

On October 4, 2011, the Department of Health of the State of New Jersey conducted a surprise inspection at Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center in response to the complaints received by persons alleging to be hospital employees. The hospital was accused of violating the pre-admission process for same day surgery patients resulting in unnecessary admissions along with unapproachable management and allegations of spying on employees with cameras.

The DOH team inspected reviewed records and patient charts, interviewed both patients and staff, and visited wards and departments to assess the complaint. After a thorough investigation none of the aforementioned complaints were validated. The DOH officially confirmed in their letter of October 20, 2011 that no deficiencies were found during the survey putting an end to false allegations. Both, the hospital patients and staff also denied the complaint and were very happy with the services and working environment that the hospital provides.
