PATIENTS' STORIES

We are very proud to share with you what our patients say about Meadowlands Hospital... readmore

“Every person treated me with much care and affection. I want to thank all the nurses for their care and kindness. Doctor was as good as the nurses! Doctor and nurses treated me like family. I hope no friend or family ever has to go to (Meadowlands) hospital but if they do – they will be in caring hands.”
— Mark S., Meadowlands Hospital Emergency Room Patient, January 2017

“The food was great and I had many channels on my tv. WiFi worked perfectly. I LOVED the nurses. They all genuinely cared and were always willing to listen to me. I honestly LOVE the nurses on the maternity ward. I really wish I was better with names because they were all exceptional!”
— Lillian D., Meadowlands Hospital HCAHPS/Postpartum Patient, December 2016

In recognition of National EMS Week and National Hospital Week, the EMS Department of Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center (MHMC) was recognized on May 13 by Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli and the Secaucus Town Council for its ongoing service to Secaucus and its residents.

The EMS Department was recognized with a plaque that read:
“Recognition Award presented to Meadowlands Hospital EMS with appreciation for your bravery, dedication, commitment and reliability to the residents of Secaucus. By your professional excellence and exceptional response time, you are truly life savers.”

As the primary EMS provider for Secaucus, Meadowlands EMS has two ambulances dedicated to serving the town. One ambulance is stationed at the hospital, while the second is stationed at the Secaucus Office of Emergency Management (OEM) location in the center of town. Each ambulance, staffed by two certified EMTs, can respond to any location in town in less than eight minutes (with a recent average response of five minutes). Meadowlands EMS also provides stand-by service at Secaucus events, and offers mutual aid to other communities when needed.
