The Facilities Department is open 24 hours, 7 days a week to serve the needs of the patients, visitors, staff and community who visits our hospital. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable and pleasant environment for all of our customers. The department maintains over 200,000 square feet of space to maintain. Maintenance is also responsibility for heat, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and carpentry. They have an in-house "shop" where they repair and improve the building year round.
Most of the architectural detailed work you see in our lobbies and waiting rooms is done in-house by our master carpenter. Our Maintenance and Plant staff also take care of the lovely gardens outdoors.
