President & Chief Executive Officer
Felicia Karsos was appointed President and CEO of Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center in August 2014 after serving the Hospital previously as Chief Nursing Officer since December 2010. A well-respected healthcare executive, Mrs. Karsos is a competent, dedicated and compassionate medical professional equipped with strong leadership qualifications honed over extensive years of experience in diverse areas encompassing patient care, staff development, budget development and execution, and project management.
Felicia Karsos began her career at Saint's Michael's Medical Center as a staff nurse in Telemetry holding various positions as Nurse Manager, Nursing Director and Chief Nursing Officer. She further expanded her expertise in healthcare administration as she transitioned from Nursing to Hospital operations. Utilizing her solid leadership/managerial, exceptional planning, prioritizing and goal-setting skills she held various positions including Vice President of Operations and Hospital Administrator.
Mrs. Karsos received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University College of Nursing and Master of Business Administration from Graduate School of Management at Rutgers University. She is a member of the NJ State Nurses Association (NJSNA) and Organization of Nurse Executives.
Mrs. Karsos is an active member of her parish participating with the youth group activities and teaching Sunday School for the 4th grade class at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
