The Geriatric Division of Meadowlands Hospital's Outpatient Center specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of elderly patients with complex medical conditions.

Our Geriatric team understands the psychological and physiological issues associated with growing older. The multidisciplinary groups of physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals are committed to preserving the independence and dignity of their patients while providing the latest treatments and comprehensive services. The team's goal is to achieve the best-possible health outcome, maximize independence, and preserve the quality of life for geriatric patients.

We offer treatment for the full spectrum of geriatric issues, including:
• Unsteady gait and falls 
• Urinary and fecal incontinence 
• Forgetfulness and dementia 
• Pressure ulcers 
• Functional decline and need for assistance in daily tasks 
• Management of polypharmacy (multiple medications) 
• Pain management
